DustCloud
Cloud-Based Dust Monitoring Service
Monitor dust levels, device status and alerts across multiple locations from one central platform.
Sintrol DustCloud brings measurement data, device status and alerts from supported Sintrol dust monitors into one cloud-based service. Monitor multiple measurement locations remotely, identify abnormal dust levels or device problems, and access the information you need for follow-up and reporting.
DustCloud is available through a web browser and mobile applications for Android and iOS, giving authorised users access to measurement information across plant areas and locations.

Monitor multiple measurement points from one place
Industrial dust monitoring often involves several measurement points across a plant or multiple locations. Reviewing data from individual instruments can make it difficult to identify where attention is needed.
DustCloud provides a central overview of connected monitors through map, device-list and overview views. Users can check device status, identify locations with active alarms and open individual measurement points for closer review.

Wireless connectivity reduces cabling and installation costs, particularly when measurement points are spread across a site or located in difficult-to-reach areas. DustCloud supports 4G and LoRaWAN communication, depending on the device configuration.
Typical applications
DustCloud is designed for industrial environments where dust measurement data needs to be monitored across multiple measurement points or locations.
- Industrial dust emission monitoring
- Environmental monitoring in industrial environments
- Centralised monitoring across multiple measurement locations
- Compliance and internal follow-up reporting
- Early detection of abnormal dust levels and device malfunctions
Measurement data, alarms and device status in one service

Review dust trends over time
View the latest received measurements and historical trends for individual monitors, or compare several measurement points in the same view. Available 15-minute, hourly and daily averages help users investigate dust events, identify recurring changes and follow longer-term developments.
Receive alerts when action is needed
DustCloud generates alerts when configured dust thresholds are exceeded, a device goes offline or a diagnostic condition or fault is detected. Email and SMS notifications can be directed to designated personnel according to the configured alert settings.
Distinguish dust events from instrument problems
A high dust reading and a device malfunction require different responses. DustCloud presents measurement trends alongside communication status, device diagnostics and alarm history, helping users identify the measurement point and condition that need attention.
Access data for reporting and further analysis
Preconfigured dashboards and reporting views support routine environmental monitoring and internal follow-up. Data can be exported from supported views to Excel or CSV for further analysis and reporting.
How DustCloud works
Supported Sintrol dust monitors send measurement and diagnostic data to DustCloud through approved communication modules using 4G or LoRaWAN, depending on the device configuration.
DustCloud collects and stores the received data, presents it in dashboards and historical views, and generates alerts when configured conditions are met. Authorised users can access the information remotely through authenticated web and mobile interfaces.
Easy deployment and managed service
DustCloud is delivered as a preconfigured service. Sintrol supplies the preconfigured communication hardware and prepares the DustCloud environment, user access and alert settings based on information provided by the customer.
The customer or an authorised Sintrol partner installs the measurement equipment and provides the required power supply and connectivity.
Sintrol operates, maintains and updates the DustCloud service.
Data ownership and access
The customer retains ownership of its measurement and diagnostic data. DustCloud uses authenticated access, role-based permissions and logical customer-data separation to protect the service.
