S303 / S303 Ex Dust Monitor

Sintrol S303 is a continuous dust monitor that gives plant operators ability to see the performance of their filtration system over a period. The dust monitor has a 4-20 mA output for continuous dust measurement. Perfect for installation after any filtration system or in common line channels leading into the emissions points of a plant.

Working principle

When solid particles come in contact or close to an insulated probe they produce a charge to the probe. This phenomenon is then amplified and converted into a proportional signal to the dust concentration. The amplification consists of two signals: DC component occurs when particles come into contact of the sensor (traditional triboelectric signal) and AC signal is generated by particles coming into contact as well as passing nearby the probe. Through advanced algorithms and signal filtration Inductive Electrification provides a very accurate dust measurements output.
